Whether at the top of Blackpool Tower or simply working away in the office, make sure you make it a Shades Day this Friday (May 19) in aid of the Family Holiday Association (FHA), dedicated to helping struggling families take a break.
To get involved on Friday, wear shades, grin and take a photo, and post on social media using #ShadesDay. Then text SHAD35 £3 to 70070 to donate £3, or set up a fundraising page via the FHA’s campaign page.
The website has a downloadable fundraising pack with posters, props and games. The aim is to raise funds to replace and maintain the FHA’s 16 caravans that give families a break.
