Held at the Lyceum Theatre and hosted by TV star Paddy McGuinness, this year’s ceremony saw 26 trophies handed out to people and companies from across the industry.
The biggest winner was Travel 2, which became the first TTG Travel Awards Winner of Winners after scoring the highest rating of all the finalists in the judging process.
Bill Munro, founder and chairman of Barrhead Travel – which has leapt from a one-agency business to employing more than 850 staff across 56 outlets in 39 years – was handed the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award.
