The operator is planning a “significant increase” in flights to Turkey with more 10 and 11-night durations from Manchester, Birmingham and Gatwick. Tui UK and Ireland said the destination had “performed well” this summer.
The brands will also add capacity this winter. There will be new routes to Lanzarote and Tenerife from Manchester and Birmingham during the October half term, plus more Christmas flights to these islands and to Fuerteventura from the two airports.
The operator will also offer additional three and four-night breaks to Lapland from Gatwick and Manchester during December. Mark Hall, director of product said: “After a mixed bag of summer weather in the UK, the Canaries are proving particularly popular, especially for families wanting to escape over half term.
"We are seeing an upsurge in demand over Christmas so we are opening up extra capacity to key destinations in December.”
He added that bookings to Lapland had grown year on year and were “extremely strong”.
