The operator’s ambition is to head into summer 2020 with 100 Blue properties.
Earlier this year, Tui folded its Sensimar and Family Life brands into Blue to create a flagship proposition.
The brand heads into the new season with 97 hotels in total across 18 countries.
The latest is the 144-room Tui Blue Fieberbrunn in Austria’s mountainous Tyrol region, which will open in time for winter 2019/20.
Situated in Pillersee Valley, near Kitzbuhel, the hotel is right on the ski slopes, metres from a gondola station serving the Skicircus area comprising Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn.
In the summer, the hotel offers access to more than 400km of walking, hiking and mountain biking trails.
It offers Tui’s Bluef!t fitness, wellness and nutrition concept, as well as a Blue spa with sauna, steam room and indoor.
The hotel embraces Tui’s “for all” label, targeting families, couples and solo travellers.
It sits in Tui’s portfolio alongside its Blue hotel in Schladming, and will be complemented by Tui Blue Montafon, which is currently under construction. All three of Tui’s proposed Blue hotels in Austria will be operational for summer 2020.
Elsewhere, Tui has debuted new "for two" Blue resorts in Gran Canaria and Morocco, both focusing on holidaymakers seeking to spend time together as couples or groups.
