The state of emergency in Tunisia has been extended until March 22.
The decision to extend the powers by a month was announced by the country’s presidential office at the weekend.
It was introduced in the wake of an IS bombing of the capital which saw 12 people killed.
The announcement comes as the FCO continues to advise against all but essential travel to the country in the wake of last year’s terrorist attack on a beach near Sousse killing 38 people.
