Turnover at western Europe’s highest tourist attraction has dropped for the third year running, with profits in 2015 plunging from £4.5 million to £2.6 million, The Mail on Sunday reports.
This compares with a profit in the first year of opening of £5 million.
Tickets for the 800-feet high attraction are £30.95 for adults and £24.95 for children if bought on the door, although a family ticket for two adults and two children bought in advance falls to £74.95.
The View from The Shard’s platform offers vistas of up to 40 miles on a clear day and has a 360-degree panorama.
