Speaking as the river cruise operator launched its 2017 Preview Boutique River Cruises & Tours brochure, UK managing director Kathryn Beadle announced the introduction of the deposit protection programme.
It means if a cruise cancellation is made 75 or more days prior to departure, guests can use the deposit of £250 per person as credit toward a future Uniworld cruise or Insight Vacations tour-and-cruise itinerary within the next five years.
Beadle said: “Should travel plans change, as they sometimes do, we want to take the stress out of the cancellation process and assure our guests their cruise deposit is protected.
“Our guests deserve the best, and that includes worry-free deposit protection. The £250 deposit can be put toward the same cruise itinerary or brand new trip – either way guests have five years to plan their next big adventure!”
