The attack outside the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday (March 22) saw a police officer killed as he tried to stop the culprit.
At least two more people have died and around 40 were injured when they were mowed down with a car on Westminster Bridge before it crashed into railings in front of Parliament.
A group of South Korean tourists and three French school children were among those believed to have been injured.
On Wednesday visitors were held on the London Eye “as per tried and tested security procedures”.

The attraction said on Twitter that it was “in constant contact with the guests inside” during the period.
“We will always take every precaution to ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff,” said the attraction.
This morning (March 23) a message on the London Eye’s website said it remained closed.
“We will update as frequently as possible on social media and our website with the latest information regarding our opening hours today,” it read.
A later tweet said the attraction’s ticket office had reopened with tickets available for 1pm onwards and guests could visit its website for information on rebooking.

Westminster Abbey’s account posted on this morning: “The Abbey is open as normal for prayer today. Entry is via the Great West Door.
“There is no tourist visiting under the present circumstances."
