Up to 12,000 flights were cancelled over the weekend as Storm Jonas, dubbed “Snowzilla” dropped up to three feet of snow on the region with 29 deaths reported.

While New York City, Baltimore and Philadelphia are now all reporting their airports are open with limited access, hundreds more flights are expected to be cancelled on Monday.
Elsewhere public transport remains sporadic, roads remain treacherous and government buildings and schools in Washington remain closed.
