These are the questions TTG will be asking in the latest Agenda 2022: New Year New Fears? seminar taking place on the afternoon of 1 November.
The free-to-attend event will begin at 2pm and will feature exclusive data collected by PwC and TTG examining consumer attitudes to travel in the current climate, as well as data from travel chief executives as to how confident they’re feeling about the months ahead.
The industry saw a strong summer season in 2022, but will this be enough to carry it through a difficult 2023?
The seminar will begin with a presentation by David Trunkfield, Hospitality and Leisure Leader, PwC UK, as he reveals the latest findings from exclusive PwC/TTG research into consumer and travel bosses’ attitudes towards travel in 2023.
There will then be a panel discussion exploring whether the travel industry is ready for 2023, with speakers including Simon Brodie, director of Travel Trade Consultancy, Alan Bowen, legal advisor to the Association of Atol Companies and Julia Lo Bue-Said, chief executive, The Advantage Travel Partnership.
The panel will analyse the key challenges facing travel and share insights into how businesses can weather the storm.
We’ll also take a look at what more the travel sector can be doing to win the support of government to ensure the industry’s voice is finally being heard in Westminster.
Join us at 2pm on 1 November and you’ll also be sent a copy of the latest PwC/TTG research.
