The new route will mean the airline is operating to seven destinations out of Liverpool and will operate three times a week from March 27.
Mark Povall, Liverpool’s director of air service development, said: “We are delighted that Wizz Air will announce a new three-times-weekly connection to Craoiva.
“This is the seventh route that Wizz Air will operate from Liverpool during summer 2017 and we look forward to making this route a success.”
Wizz Air head of communications Tamara Vallois added: “We are delighted today to be announcing our seventh Wizz route from Liverpool to Craiova.
“This is the first low fare Wizz Air service from Liverpool to Romania and we hope that our UK customers will enjoy visiting Craiova and exploring cultural and historical heritage of the Oltenia region.”
