Starting in March 2027, the 148-passenger sailing yacht will operate the seven-night Dreams of Tahiti itinerary continuously, with weekly Monday departures.
Every voyage visits Raiatea, the island considered the ancestral homeland of the Maori people, a destination not featured on competing seven-day itineraries.
The line's other Tahiti-based vessel, the 312-passenger Star Breeze, will offer longer voyages to more remote destinations in countries like Fiji and the Cook Islands.
These can be combined into Star Collector Voyages of up to 21 days, offering cultural immersion and extended South Pacific exploration.
Prices on Star Breeze start from £2,099 per person, based on a seven-night Tantalising Tuamotu Islands & Beautiful Bora Bora departure on 14 January.
While prices on Wind Star start from £2,261pp, based on the seven-night Dreams of Tahiti sailing, starting on 8 March.
Passengers who book before 31 October 2025 will receive $200 onboard credit and the line's All-In package which includes Wi-Fi, gratuities and select beverages and is worth £74 per person.
Windstar president Christopher Prelog said: "Tahiti is part of our DNA, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our sailing yacht back to these legendary waters.
“By offering the largest number of departures in Tahiti, we offer unparalleled flexibility and choice - whether you crave the romance of sailing under starry skies or the comfort of an all-suite yacht."
Wind Star was the first ship in the Windstar fleet to be renovated. It spent 26 days in dry dock in late 2023 for phase one, while phase two is scheduled for April next year.
During phase two, the line will upgrade the Amphora restaurant on Wind Star.
