Chenot has announced a partnership with a new residential superyacht project, marking its first-ever location on sea.
The luxury wellness brand, best known for its European retreats, will offer a selection of its signature services on Ulyssia when delivered in 2029.
The 320-metre-long vessel is poised to become the world’s largest yacht, featuring 122 private residences – including ten penthouses – and 22 guest suites.
Residents will have access to Chenot’s ‘medical, health and wellness’ services, all of which will be modelled on those available at its five destinations across Europe, Central Asia and Africa.
Programmes will cover everything from weight management and holistic nutrition to sleep hygiene and detoxification. There will also be a spa and fitness centre, as well as a medical facility with X-Ray, MRI and CT scanners and endoscopy equipment.
“We are known as a medical wellness company,” Dr George Gaitanos, chief operating officer at Chenot, told delegates at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. “We've been in the market for over 50 years, but [with Ulyssia] we will extend beyond the walls of what is now defined as wellness space.”
The size of Ulyssia’s residences ranges between one and six bedrooms, with all offering open-plan kitchens, reception areas and terraces. Around half of the apartments, which start at €10 million, have already been sold.
Interiors will be the brainchild of Francesca Muzio of FM Architettura, which has previously worked on projects for Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La and The Shard. The Italian designer emphasised that the entire yacht, including its public areas, will feel like an ‘extension of home’.
There will also be outdoor and indoor pools, a 600-metre-long running track and courts for padel tennis and pickleball. Other highlights include a hair and beauty salon, library, art studio, theatre and a youth programme. There will also be two resident helicopters and Triton submersibles, should owners wish to explore their surroundings further.
