Exsus Travel has unveiled its fam trip programme for 2026 as its vows to prioritise educational experiences for its trade partners.
The luxury tour operator will be taking agents to various destinations over the coming months, with tours to Turkey, Mykonos and the Maldives already in the pipeline.
It will also collaborate with Turkish Airlines to host an “elite” fam trip to South Africa for four or five of its top-selling agents, having hosted the inaugural trip last October. To make the trip feel more like a reward than a traditional educational, each agent will be welcome to take a plus-one along.
“We know the current climate has led many businesses to cut back, but for us, continued investment in our people remains incredibly important,” said Sinziana Renciuc, sales director at Exsus Travel.
“These trips are about much more than travel. They are about education, confidence, relationship-building and ensuring our team and partners are equipped to deliver the service Exsus is known for. It also reflects our confidence in the business and our belief in maintaining momentum, even during more challenging times.”
This sentiment was echoed by Exsus’ managing director, Habib Rehman: “We are huge believers in recommending from first-hand experience. Investing in fam trips means investing in the knowledge, confidence and credibility of both our team and our trade partners. In the luxury space especially, details matter, and there is simply no substitute for having been there yourself. It’s something that benefits our staff, our agent relationships, our suppliers and ultimately our clients too.”
Rehman added that fam trips are also extremely valuable for strengthening relationships with suppliers: “We’re showing that we want to properly experience their product, understand it in detail and go out and sell it with conviction.”
Exsus is also running a new booking incentive which will see agents receive a 50% increase on the usual voucher amounts for all eligible bookings made between 7th April and 30th April 2026. There will also be the chance to win a series of prizes, starting with a three-night stay for two people at either Minos Beach Art Hotel or Minos Palace Resort in Crete.
Last summer, Renciuc told TTG that Exsus – who started working with the trade in 2018 – now owes ‘95%’ of its business to agents.
“Every day, we have a new agent signing up with us. The potential is massive,” she said. “Every single agent is really important to us and we will deliver the same service to you – whether you’ve been with us for one day or five years.”
Renciuc went on to credit the addition of Exsus’s in-house 24/7 contact line as one of its “biggest strengths.”
