Norway is aiming to further its appeal to affluent travellers in the UK with the hosting of a workshop designed to connect luxury travel planners with a range of Norwegian partners.
Following a successful 2024 event, Visit Norway will be holding the day-long Signature Norway London Workshop in partnership with TTG Luxury for the second time, with 15 Norway partners set to meet with UK agents and operators.
The workshop will take place on 21 November at The Conduit in Covent Garden, with a selection of experience providers and hotels travelling over to the UK. The event uses an online meeting planning platform in order to help shape personalised schedules.
“We know we can offer the kinds of experiential trips that luxury travellers are increasingly seeking, and by working with TTG Luxury on this event, we hope to drive more interest within the UK travel community to help us expand on this,” said Britt Gorniok, senior advisor tourism for Visit Norway.
“The range of unique accommodation providers and DMCs we are bringing to London will help travel planners delve more into what the country has to offer their clients from an experiential and high-end perspective.”
The day will run from 9am-5pm, and includes breakfast and lunch (with a Norwegian twist) and a drinks reception to end the Friday workshop.
Attendees at the workshop will also be in with a chance of winning a trip to Norway, including return economy flights for two people from London-Oslo; two nights at The Thief, a lifestyle boutique hotel in Oslo; and dinner at Sommerro House.
“We are delighted to be collaborating with Visit Norway for a second year on the Signature Norway London Workshop, where travel planners can come to find inspiration around this beautiful destination, and build partnerships with a carefully selected range of experience designers and unique accommodation providers eager to work with the UK,” added April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury.
Luxury travel planners interested in attending the workshop should contact April Hutchinson.
