The delivery ceremony took place on Wednesday (26 April) when the ship was presented at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Ancona, Italy.
The vessel will be officially named in New York on 6 June by its godmother, Ann Ziff, chair of the Metropolitan Opera.
Following the naming ceremony, the ship will spend its inaugural summer sailing two new voyages: Iconic Iceland, Greenland and Canada, between New York and Reykjavik; and Iceland and Norway’s Arctic Explorer, between Reykjavik and Bergen.
