Located on Deck 7, the bar will offer eight draught beers, a range of bottled artisanal beers, shots, shot-cocktails and boilermakers.

It will also use a growler (jug) service, so guests can take their drinks around public spaces or back to their cabins.

Virgin Voyages said the Draught Haus would feature an eclectic mix of furniture, rustic detailing and a beer tap display set behind the bar.

The line added that given its positioning, adjacent to record shop Voyage Vinyl, the venue would provide “the perfect chill-out space”.

Its signature craft beer has been created by the Miami-based Wynwood Brewing Company using American malts and hops but using an English yeast, “tying back to Virgin’s British roots”, finished with a touch of roasted malt giving the beverage a red tint.

Virgin Voyages is calling on members of the public to name the drink, with social media followers able to suggest their favourite names by commenting on the line’s Instagram account.
