Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor, together with J-Will Partners Co., Ltd., has announced the development of Fairmont Niseko, a new 165-key property in Japan slated to open in early 2028.
Set within nine acres of forest between Mount Yotei and Mount Annupuri, the resort is designed by Daiken Sekkei, Inc, with Steve Leung Design Group Limited as interior designer. The location offers panoramic views of Mount Yotei and access to skiing, golf and dining in nearby Niseko Village and Hirafu.

Connectivity will be enhanced by the planned Hokkaido Shinkansen extension, connecting Kutchan Station to Sapporo Station in 25 minutes, with completion set for 2038. Rising international flights at New Chitose Airport will further support demand.
On completion, the hotel will offer two restaurants, a spa and wellness offering, a kids' club and Onsen experiences.
