Park Hyatt Riviera Maya and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos are both expected to open in the second half of 2026. The projects combine Hyatt’s expertise in the all-inclusive segment with the distinct identities of the Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt brands.
Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, located between Cancún and Puerto Morelos, will feature 148 guestrooms and suites, including private-pool accommodations and a 2,300-square-foot penthouse. Designed around Park Hyatt’s residential luxury philosophy, the resort will emphasise personalised service, local craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.
Guests will be supported by dedicated Resort Ambassadors, while seven chef-led dining venues, premium wine and spirits programs, beachfront pools, wellness facilities, golf access, and event spaces will create a refined luxury all-inclusive experience.
Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa, situated within the Oleada Pacific Living & Golf community in Cabo San Lucas, will offer 301 rooms, including 57 suites and 42 swim-out accommodations.
The resort will feature more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space, five à la carte restaurants, five bar concepts, multiple pools, kids’ and teen clubs, pickleball courts, an Ernie Els-designed golf course, and a spa with 12 treatment cabins, hydrotherapy facilities, and a traditional temazcal experience.
According to Hyatt executives, the developments reflect a strategy of selectively integrating all-inclusive offerings into luxury and upper-upscale brands while preserving their unique identities.
PHH, which operates more than 11,000 hotel rooms across its portfolio, views the projects as a significant investment in Mexico’s tourism sector and luxury hospitality market.
The openings further strengthen Hyatt’s luxury and all-inclusive presence in Mexico, complementing recent additions such as Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol and Alila Mayakoba, while supporting the company’s broader expansion plans across key leisure destinations.
