Video transcript
Maddie: Welcome to our In The Spotlight video about Turks & Caicos, with a special focus on the beautiful Windsong Resort. Victoria, could you give us an introduction to the destination, as there's a lot to explore, isn't there?
Victoria: There's so much to explore in Turks & Caicos. We are actually 40 different islands and cays, only nine of which are inhabited.
Maddie: Amazing. And how can visitors get to the island with British Airways?
Victoria: So British Airways flies twice a week, on a Thursday and a Sunday. It's a direct service. It touches down in Nassau, but you don't need to get off the plane there. You just go straight through and you land in Providenciales.
Maddie: Brilliant. Nice and easy. So turning to you Anette, can you tell us why agents need to have Windsong Resort on their radar?
Anette: Absolutely. So Windsong is uniquely positioned on the island's best snorkelling reef. Our guests can step onto the sand, just 20 yards from shore and explore the underwater activities within the snorkel reef, swim with the fishes and sea turtles, without the hassle of getting on the boat. It is unique for those who want to play in the water while staying at a luxury oceanfront resort.
Maddie: Amazing. And what about the accommodation options? What can they choose from at the resort?
Anette: So Windsong is where luxury meets comfort. We have a variety of accommodation, something for everyone. From the single to the family to multi-generational. We have the oceanfront suites, which offers an expensive view of Grace Bay, full kitchen, laundry facilities. We also have our oceanfront, penthouses with rooftop terraces, most of which are unique to Grace Bay. And we also have our bungalows, our beautiful bungalows that nestle in tropical settings that comes with fire pit and the barbecue. All make for perfect family gathering.
Maddie: Definitely sounds like it. Okay. And what are some of the unique selling points of the resort would you say that agents can really pull out and highlight to their clients during their conversations?
Anette: So snorkelling right off the beach, just 20 yards from shore. That's a huge selling point. We offer an intimate, boutique resort with a variety of accommodations that offers laidback luxury. The views on Grace Bay are spectacular, and many can be had from the suites. Butler services also available and the butler will be here to help the guests with the pre-arrival planning, celebration packages, grocery shopping, etc.
Yoga classes are available. We have our gym with Peloton bikes and rowing, that's another big feature. Drift Spa is also available for relaxation, which is very important today. All suites include continental breakfast daily. We do have non-motorised water sports with Hobie Cats [boats], stand-up paddleboards, water hammocks, all available and included in every stay at Windsong.
Maddie: Well, that sounds absolutely dreamy. Thank you so much for both of you for sharing all of that amazing information. And thank you viewers for tuning into our In The Spotlight video about Turks & Caicos.
Anette and Victoria: Thank you.
