The questionnaire has been instigated by Swap the Sky, a project launched by Travel by B Corp, aimed at mobilising travel agents, trade bodies and industry associations to identify and overcome the barriers to selling flight-free journeys.
Once the key operational, market and perceptual obstacles of selling flight-free short-haul travel have been identified, a roadmap will be created by Travel B Corp partners to eradicate these barriers and support travel agents in promoting more responsible journeys.

We’re asking travel agents to complete this survey because we want to better understand what’s currently stopping overland journeys from being sold more widely by hearing their thoughts first hand. Whether it’s lack of product, time pressures or confidence in selling, these insights will help us identify the barriers.
We want to create clear solutions that make it easier and more rewarding for agents to sell flight-free travel. Agents will play a critical role in promoting flight-free options by highlighting how slow travel makes for a more meaningful and engaging holiday”
