Four industry leaders will gather this month for an “honest” panel discussion on the evolution of responsible luxury hospitality.
Taking place on Thursday 21 May in London, the exclusive event – titled ‘Inside the Future of Conscious Hospitality’ – will explore how the sector is moving beyond “box-ticking” sustainability exercises toward a more purposeful approach to ESG.
“We are at a turning point where hospitality must mean more than just a bed for the night; it’s about creating spaces that nurture the guest, the community, and the planet,” said Nadira Lalji, founder of Inhabit Hotels, which is one of the first hotels to achieve B Corp accreditation.
“I’m looking forward to discussing how we can collectively move the needle towards a more conscious and intentional future for our industry.”
The session, which will be moderated by April Hutchinson, head of luxury at TTG Media, will platform several industry pioneers alongside Lalji, including Mark Tremlett, co-founder and managing director of Naturalmat, an organic mattress company; Eleonore Halluitte Andrews, chief operating officer at Goldfinger, a sustainable furniture manufacturer; and Charlotte Harrington, chief executive of Belu, the first bottled water company in the UK to achieve a carbon-neutral footprint. All three brands have worked with Inhabit in its philosophy of creating a more thoughtful hotel experience.
The discussion aims to provide realistic perspectives on building conscious brands, specifically focusing on the intersection of design, wellbeing, and social impact.
“As a fellow B Corp company, it is TTG Media's honour to be involved with such a thoughtful gathering of passionate and inspiring individuals and entrepreneurs. I am really looking forward to diving into what drives these brands, and how people can collaborate more to tell intentional stories that encourage clients to embrace their conscious philosophy, one based on giving back, not extracting from the places and spaces hospitality operates within,” added Hutchinson.
Attendees can expect an insight-led debate followed by an audience Q&A and a networking session with peers from across the hospitality, travel and media sectors.
The event will run from 10:30am to 1:00pm at The Library, Inhabit Southwick Street. Breakfast items, teas, and coffees will be provided for all guests. Those looking to attend the event can book a space online.
