Your client’s next favourite property hasn’t opened its doors – yet.
From snowy hideaways to green forest retreats, we’re looking into the future as we check out the upcoming launches from major hotel brands across France, Zimbabwe, and India.
We’ve also included the highly-anticipated debut of Oceania Sonata, which will make its maiden voyage from Italy next August.
Hôtel Saint Roch, Courchevel
This December, Maisons Pariente will open Hôtel Saint Roch, marking the fifth property in the French brand’s portfolio.
Located in the Courchevel 1850 area of the French Alps, this heritage chalet offers an intimate hideaway with direct ski-in, ski-out access.
Just a short walk away from the commune’s centre, guests can expect designer boutiques and Michelin-star restaurants (like Baumanière 1850) within the surrounding region.
The hotel itself comprises 37 rooms and suites, all of which embody a cosy alpine chalet aesthetic. Designed by Friedmann and Versace – the French studio behind Hôtel La Pérouse – the interiors feature queen-size beds, dual vanity counters, standalone baths, and walk-in showers.
For post-ski relaxation, guests can unwind in the indoor pool and Tata Harper spa, which will exclusively use the brand's organic skincare line.
Other highlights include a fitness room, ski shop, and a kids’ club. Details for the restaurant have yet to be announced – so watch this space.
Albida – Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls Safari Collection has unveiled its latest addition, Albida Victoria Falls, opening this fall in Zimbabwe.
“This new retreat responds to the demand for private accommodation and speaks to the modern high-end traveller that prioritises space,” said Ross Kennedy, Director of Africa Albida Tourism.
The sanctuary consists of 13 spacious villas, all accompanied by a private plunge pool.
There are also two-bedroom duplexes, which are ideal for families or groups. The property enjoys all the facilities of the wider safari estate, including its fitness centre and full-service spa.
Guests can also expect a wellness suite with a reflexology path and an infinity pool.
Culinary options include The Buffalo Bar, which provides casual alfresco dining such as pub-grub classics on a scenic deck.
If you're looking for a more local dining experience, head to the Boma Dinner & Drum Show for a traditional percussion performance alongside a buffet featuring local BBQ braai.
Oceania Sonata, Oceania Cruises
The luxury cruise line is set to launch Oceania Sonata in August 2027, marking the ninth addition to its fleet.
The 922-foot vessel, which holds 1,390 guests, has dedicated one-third of its accommodation to premium suites.
The highest tier belongs to the Owner’s Suites, which boast two bedrooms with king- and queen-size beds alongside spa-caliber facilities.
Other options include the Vista, Oceania, and Penthouse suites, all accompanied by 24-hour butler service and multi-course in-suite dining.
The Oceania Sonata also features the Aquamar Spa, where guests can enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness centre, private treatment rooms, plunge pools, and whirlpool baths.
As for the onboard cuisine, clients can expect a wide variety of restaurants. Waves Grill serves barbecue and seafood classics in a casual setting, while Aquamar Kitchen offers hearty Lebanese bowls and raw juices.
For something more formal, La Table par Maîtres Cuisiniers de France specialises in French fine dining with a rotating, wine-paired menu.
The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts will open The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary in June 2027.
Located on the lush coffee plantations of Madikeri, India, this eco-retreat will have 71 villas available across six different categories.
The highest-level option is the Sunbeam Presidential Villa, designed to host up to twelve guests with four independent rooms, a grand lounge space, a private dining area, and a kitchenette.
The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary also has a wellness centre that provides a mix of Ayurvedic and global therapies, including Swedish and Balinese massages, aromatherapy, and a Turkish hammam.
On the culinary front, the resort has four distinct options: Luma, an all-day dining restaurant celebrating authentic Kodava cuisine; Zen, which serves diverse Pan-Asian flavours; and 92 Degrees, a relaxed coffee shop and library hybrid. For a nightcap, head to the Winchester-style cocktail bar, The Cellar Lounge, which features an extensive mixology menu.
The Leela Jaisalmer
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts will expand its presence in Rajasthan with the opening of The Leela Jaisalmer in December 2026.
Conveniently located near the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, the hotel is spread across 30 acres of desert terrain.
It will feature 80 guest rooms and tented villas, alongside a selection of dining venues, with further details to be announced soon. For leisure, additional facilities will include a full-service spa, a salon, and an outdoor pool. The property also features dedicated spaces for entertainment, including a kids’ club, a ballroom, generous outdoor lawns, and courtyards designed to host grand events.
