Claire Stirrup said the introduction of Sail Your Way, offering three fare packages each with different benefits, had been made to “take personalisation to another level” following guest feedback and to simplify the line’s offering for agents.
“Partners can have so many details to remember when selling cruise, so simplifying things and keeping that structure in place means they can focus on making bookings,” she told TTG.
Sail Your Way launches on 19 November – the same day as Celebrity’s latest Celebrity Moments campaign, which this year is fronted by First Dates maitre d’ Fred Sirieix (pictured centre).
It gives consultants the chance to win 100 cash prizes totalling £50,000. Celebrity’s 100 top-performing agents will each bag £500 worth of Celebrity Rewards points – redeemable for spa weekends and shopping – while 700 more prizes will also be awarded during the campaign, which runs until 3 March 2020.
Stirrup said her sales team would be gifting spot prizes, such as free cruises, vouchers and branded bathrobes, to agents they deemed worthy.
“It could be for different things: their first Celebrity booking; working hard to get a sale over the line; being engaged with the brand.”
Stirrup said Celebrity had chosen Sirieix to “inspire” partners.
“Fred is an expert in service and we want him to inspire agents to go above and beyond for Celebrity customers,” she said. “You never know where he might appear or what he might do [during the campaign].”
Agents must register their sales on CelebrityCentral.co.uk or CelebrityCentral.ie to claim rewards points, with a live leader board featuring on Celebrity Central.
Celebrity has also created a selling guide and marketing collateral.
