The ship, which will be second MSC vessel to launch in 2021, was floated out at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.

With a length of 339 metres, MSC Seashore will be the line’s longest ship with a maximum capacity of 5,877 guests when it is delivered in July 2021. Seashore will be the third of four Seaside class of ships for MSC following Seaside and Seaview.

Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman of MSC Cruises, said: “We are committed to our new builds programme, which with each new class of ships sees us innovating and setting new standards in the industry.

“MSC Seashore will in fact be the largest and most innovative cruise vessel ever built in Italy, featuring the latest and most advanced environmental technology currently available.”

MSC Seashore’s extended length creates 10,000 square metres of extra deck space for a larger MSC Yacht Club, while the ship will also offer more suites than existing ships in its class, as well as added bars, lounges and restaurants.
