Dan Conitzer will take up his new role at the villa and boutique hotel specialist on 1 August, reporting into head of trade sales Hannah Naylor-Vane.
Conitzer has been with Simpson Travel since early 2020, working in pre-departure, the company’s loyalty team and its customer service department.
Naylor-Vane said: “Over the past few years, Dan has been a fantastic member of the customer service and pre-departure teams. He is extremely diligent, committed and has a natural knack for problem solving and is very customer focused.
“All these qualities will be really valuable in our relationships with agents, demonstrating to them what fantastic service we can give to their clients. I’m very much looking forward to working with Dan as we continue to build the trade element of Simpson Travel.’
Meanwhile, Simpson Travel has also appointed Richard Latham as its new customer service manager.
Latham, who joined the company on Monday (18 July) moves from his role as customer service manager at Emirates.
He previously spent five years in the same position with Silversea and has also worked at Singapore Airlines, Kenya Airways, British Airways and Cathay Pacific.
