Between now and the end of February 2017, agents who share news on social media about their success with Celebrity Cruises, using the hashtag #Celebritylovesagents, will be in with a chance of winning a voyage on a taster cruise.
Claire Strirrup, director of sales, said the competition was open to any agent that engaged with the line – whether they had sold several cruises, or none at all. “It could be someone who has reached a milestone where they’ve sold many cruises, or they might have sold their first Celebrity cruise, or they might not have sold any yet, but have gone above and beyond to show their passion for the line,” she told TTG.
Each week a panel of judges from the Celebrity Cruises sales team will judge the post that they enjoyed the most, and an agent will win a place on a two-night voyage onboard Celebrity Eclipse in May 2017, with a total of 10 places up for grabs.
To aid the social media campaign, Celebrity has provided “selfie cards” within the dedicated selling guides that have been sent out to agents, which also include sales tips and information about the line.
Agents will also be able to use the selfie cards to hold up and capture their successful moments on camera, with the cards featuring messages such as “I’ve sold my first Celebrity Cruise”; “I’ve sold an Abu Dhabi cruise” and “I’ve made a Suite Class booking”.
Stirrup added: “We know our agent partners love engaging with us and our sales team on social media and we wanted to say a fitting thank you for their tweets, status updates and shares. We don’t take their engagement for granted, and of course we are looking forward to fun, creative posts that make us smile.”
The giveaway is in addition to the line’s Moments turn of year campaign, which will see 100 top-selling agents and those delivering the most growth winning £500 worth of Celebrity Rewards points. The top 10 selling or growth agents will take home £1,000 of Celebrity Rewards points.
Celebrity Cruises’ sales team will also award additional spot prizes for social media engagement throughout January and February, such as Rewards points bonuses and wine-related treats.
