The sporting wing of the travel giant has secured a three-year deal with the American football league to offer packages for fans to watch a trio of matches during its International Series later this year.
The operator said this year’s clashes would feature some of the “most iconic teams and biggest names in the NFL”, with fans able to watch two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Eli Manning and star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr in action.
Cook Sport said it was “delighted” with the deal, adding: “Our staff are knowledgeable and passionate about providing a unique experience that only the NFL International Series can give.”
Packages are on offer featuring general admission match tickets to one of the three matches taking place in the capital and an overnight stay from £189pp.
The Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts on October 2 and Cincinnati Bengals against Washington Redskins on October 30 are both due to be played at Wembley Stadium, while on October 23 the New York Giants will take on the LA Rams at Twickenham, with the home of English rugby used as a UK NFL venue for the first time.
The hosting of NFL matches outside the States has become a mainstay on the British sporting calendar since 2007 and has featured an expanded programme of three games since 2014.
Upon announcing the partnership, managing director of Thomas Cook UK and Ireland, Chris Mottershead, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers these official NFL International Series games packages that can’t be bought elsewhere.
“We’re working to provide our customers with more and more choice and unique experiences.”
