Niyama Private Islands unveils the final chapter of its year-long transformation with the reveal of its reimagined beach and overwater pavilions, designed for multigenerational escapes and extraordinary celebrations.
The resort’s refurbished one-, two- and three-bedroom pavilions, ranging from 350 to 770 sqm, offer contemporary island living with spacious indoor and outdoor areas, living and dining rooms, pantries, private pools and jacuzzis. Overwater pavilions provide direct access to the ocean, while beach pavilions are set within a secluded cove with some of the resort’s best snorkelling just offshore.
At the pinnacle of the collection is The Crescent, an exclusive cluster of five overwater pavilions connected by a private boardwalk. Accommodating up to 22 guests, it features three living rooms, five pools with jacuzzis, and dedicated thakuru and housekeeping teams. Bespoke experiences include an underwater Champagne breakfast, private beach barbecue and movie under the stars.
Dining has also been elevated, from treetop Asian cuisine at Nest to the world’s first underwater Nikkei tasting menu at Subsix. The new Surf Shack, overlooking the resort’s renowned break, brings together rum, reggae and sunsets beside the surf and marine centre.
While the resort has evolved, Niyama’s natural beauty remains unchanged. Guests can explore its twin islands, where jungle, white-sand beaches and turquoise lagoons continue to define the experience.
“Niyama is a magical place, and it always has been – this remains unchanged,” says Hafidh Al Busaidy, General Manager of Niyama Private Islands Maldives. “Our evolution is a celebration of everything our guests have always loved, elevated to new heights.”
