The additions grow the West Country and South Wales miniple's network to 22. Managing Director Mandy Shillito also confirmed MMT would shortly be opening a new shop in Frome.
Both MMT and Spear Travels are owned by Hays Travel; Hays acquired Miles Morgan in May 2024 and Spear Travels a year later in June 2025.
MMT confirmed the additions of Spear Travel Blandford, in Dorset, and Spear Travels Thame, in Oxfordshire, and in a Facebook post on Wednesday (1 July).
"We’re delighted to announce the addition of two new Miles Morgan Travel shops in Thame and Blandford," the post read. "Previously operating under the Spear Travels name, these branches are now proudly part of the Miles Morgan Travel family, and we’re thrilled to welcome them onboard.
"Customers can continue to expect the same friendly team, expert advice, and outstanding personal service, now under the Miles Morgan Travel banner."
The post confirmed the additions grow MMT's network to 22. However, commenting on the post, Shillito added the news came "just ahead of opening our new shop in Frome".
'Exciting new chapter'
Posting to their respective Facebook pages, the team at Miles Morgan Thame said: "Hello everyone! Hayley, Chelsea and the team here at our freshly rebranded Miles Morgan store.
"We're over the moon to be part of the Miles Morgan family and super excited to continue planning your thrilling adventures with more choices and support than before."
Meanwhile, the Blandford branch shared a message from branch manager Jed Wakefield-Coombes, reassuring customers there would be no changes for them beyond the name above the door.
Another post, shared across both of the branch's pages, reiterated: "While the name above the door is changing, everything else you know and love stays exactly the same. You’ll still see the same friendly team, in the same place, delivering the same great service and expert advice.
"By becoming part of Miles Morgan Travel, an award-winning agency with branches across the South and Wales, we’ll have even more support behind us, helping us bring you an even better travel experience.
"If you already have a booking with us, don’t worry, it’s completely unaffected. We’re really excited about this next chapter and can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure."
