The travel management company, which caters for businesses with a travel spend of £50,000 to £2 million per year, counts Pret A Manger and French Connection as clients.
Its new platform, YOUR.CT, now gives users a single access point, with features including pre-trip approval, booking options, traveller tracking, alerts and invoice data. It will also launch a synchronised app, called YOUR.CT MOBILE, which will enable travellers to check in for flights on the go, and offer alerts and destination guides.
Andy Hegley, general manager, said: “We have invested heavily in developing YOUR.CT to give our clients the right type of technology that is easy to access, simple to use and supports them with the booking and managing of travel costs and processes, as well as duty of care obligations.”
The company also plans to grow turnover by more than 15%. For 2016-17, it reported a turnover of £300 million, but for the next financial year, beginning June, Hegley said the TMC was aiming for a turnover of £350 million.
Meanwhile, Michel Rouse, chief technology officer of Corporate Traveller’s parent company Flight Centre Travel Group, told TTG he later planned to offer the group’s chat bot app, Sam, for Flight Centre customers. Currently the app, which acts as a 24-hour personal assistant, is only integrated into Corporate Traveller and FCM bookings. Rouse also told TTG his “ultimate goal” was for the app to connect to other suppliers’ chat applications. “We’re talking to suppliers. We’d like to get to that – where we can open it up to other services.”
Corporate Traveller will officially unveil its new technology at the Business Travel Show on February 21-22.
