The session, which will be entitled LGBT Travel at the Crossroad: Where to Next?, will be hosted by LGBT specialist consultancy Out Now Business Class and will examine latest travel spend data from the Out Now global LGBT2030 market research.
ONBC said the industry needed to rethink “both its strategic and tactical approaches in ways that will increase revenues from LGBT tourism by better understanding and meeting the needs of LGBT travellers”.
The panel will offer delegates insights about “what’s next” for the sector - to enable them to learn how businesses can position themselves for growth in a market already worth more than USD$200 billion global spending annually.
Speakers will include Ian Johnson, chief executive of Out Now; Juan Carlos Alonso, president of World Pride Madrid 2017; Auston Matta, founder of Outfluential; Miguel Sanz, director general of tourism at Madrid City Council and Sophie Griffiths, news editor, TTG Media.
*LGBT Travel at The Crossroads: Where to Next? will be being presented at World Travel Market, London on November 8 at 12:45 - 13:45 Platinum Suite 3.
