More than 100 agents attended the event, which also promoted new Thomas Cook direct flights from Manchester to Los Angeles beginning May 2.
Nicky Yates, business development manager north for Attraction World, organised the event. She said: “We held the event in Manchester to promote the new Thomas Cook route and many of the agents I work with are from the North too.”
Agents took part in a pub quiz with rounds themed on their host suppliers. Attraction World had agents guess the celebrity silhouette after which Universal Studios Hollywood held a product knowledge section on its new park. Thomas Cook asked questions about its aircraft, including passenger capacity and new routes, while Universal Orlando had agents guessing film names from the theme tune.
The winning team, made up of agents from Pole Travel, Peregrination and Howards Way Travel, received a goody bag. Agents who make five bookings including Thomas Cook flights now have a chance to enter a prize drawn to win one of two holidays to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
