Founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Mark Weingard, Iniala has transformed Valletta’s global profile since opening Iniala Harbour House in 2020, becoming Malta’s only Forbes Five-Star hotel and home to the island’s only two-Michelin-starred restaurant, ION Harbour by Simon Rogan MBE.
Opening late July 2026 Iniala will open the doors to Solis, a Maltese palazzo, is an architectural masterpiece designed by Madrid-based studio A-cero. Situated just behind the flagship hotel, it offers the same impressive views over the Grand Harbour skyline from its exclusive rooftop pool, the Solis Club, and its culinary highlight, the rooftop restaurant Anaalā.
Offering sweeping harbour views, Anaalā is set to be a sensory destination that fuses the aromatic elegance of Thai cuisine with the golden light and sea breeze of Malta.
Situated in the centre of Valletta on historic Republic Street, Iniala’s Magistero wing is a 21st-century statement featuring eleven exceptional suites designed by Verter Turroni of Italy’s Imperfetto Lab that is set to open in October 2026.
SiR by Simon Rogan is designed to be the beating heart of the Magistero building and Valletta’s most exciting new social hub. The dining room is an architectural statement by Imperfetto Lab, where texture, light, and unexpected material choices ensure the space becomes part of the meal itself.
Together, the new openings add 21 new suites to the collection, including the sculptural FrancoMaria Suite, further advancing Iniala’s vision of a “boutique resort at city scale”.
By 2027, Iniala Valletta will expand to 90 rooms and five distinct dining destinations, supported by intuitive digital guest technologies and an evolving service philosophy rooted in human connection.
