Sunrise Marketing has been taken on to help grow business from the UK, offering product training and support, with a new trade sales manual ready for release this month.
Plans for the trade include an invite to attend London On-Water festival (May 10-12) to view yachts, a day out on one of the yachts on the south coast in July, and fam trips.
A specific focus will be on Dream Yacht Charter’s by-the-cabin sailings, which are usually on luxury catamarans with 12 cabins.
“We want to show agents – and operators – that sailing doesn’t have to be a complicated product to sell, and offers their customers a fantastic all-inclusive holiday, with guaranteed sailings year-round,” said Andy Byham, director of Dream Yacht Charter UK.
Operators already featuring Dream Yacht Charter include Azure, Caribtours, Turquoise and Elegant Resorts, who will all be looking to build pre and post-trip land-based itineraries on to the cruises.
The range of by-the-cabin sailings in 2018 has also been extended to include the Bahamas, Bermuda and Majorca.
There are 24 fixed sailings ranging from three to 10 nights in 12 destinations, including Corsica, British Virgin Islands, St Martin, Martinique, Cuba, Thailand, Bali, Seychelles, Tahiti, the Maldives and Mauritius.
