Flights went on sale yesterday for the new service, which is due to commence on October 21, with twice weekly departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays, all year round and fares from LJLA to Venice starting at £31.99 one-way.
Venice is now the seventh Italian destination to be served from Liverpool.
Paul Winfield, air service development director at Liverpool John Lennon airport, said: “Venice is another new destination to add to the growing list of popular European cities that passengers from across the North West can fly to from Liverpool.”
