The company, which now has 1,800 Travel Counsellors, reported a record-breaking January, seeing a 15% rise in sales on last year.
The firm achieved global sales of £82 million last month and, in total, six out of 10 of the firm’s top sales days were achieved in January 2019.
Travel Counsellors also saw record levels of bookings through its in-house booking platform, Phenix, with £2.2 million in sales secured through the system on January 31. Bookings made through the company’s directly contacted hotels increased by 10%.
Travel Counsellors also saw a 40% increase in Travel Counsellor business owners booking TC Packages.
The company’s corporate travel arm, Travel Counsellors for Business, also boosted the surge in January sales with a 65% increase on the previous month and an 11% rise on the same period last year.
