The 317-room Four Seasons Hotel Seoul will be ready by October 15 and is the first in Korea for the group.
The hotel is being built in the central business district of the Korean capital and is designed by Heerim Architects & Planners and LTW Designworks, while its four restaurants and three bars are being created by designers such as AvroKO and Andre Fu.
Every room features the fully customisable Four Seasons Bed, which the group has been rolling out since last year, and all rooms include complimentary internet service. The hotel will also have an Executive Club lounge, lounge bar and the Confections by Four Seasons coffee and pastry shop.
Four Seasons Club Seoul will offer a three-floor health and fitness facility for guests and limited external local membership.
Along with gym and studios, it will have a juice bar, members’ lounge, three pools including a lap pool and vitality pool, children’s pool, indoor golf experience with driving range and a Korean sauna. The spa will feature treatments by Korean line Fedora and Biologique Recherche from France.
Weddings will be a big part of the hotel’s business, with five spaces to choose from as well as a traditional Korean pyebaek room and Four Seasons wedding specialists on-site.
Tokyo-based floral designer Nicolai Bergmann open his first shop in Korea within the hotel.
The group now operates 93 properties in 39 countries, and has more than 60 projects under development.
