Entering into its 25th year, Luxury Scotland includes a group of 30 hotels, golf venues and castles, as well as Hebridean Princess and Belmond Royal Scotsman.

“Next year will be quite a milestone for us, with 25 years in business representing quite an achievement,” said chief executive Jeremy Hawkings. “Our members have had a good year and there are a number of refurbishments and new building projects going on – Glencoe House has built six new suites for example, while Gleneagles and Cameron House have all had massive multi-million pound refurbishments.”

Among the experiences Luxury Scotland will be promoting at WTM London is North Coast 500, a six-day drive in supercars such as Ferraris or Lamborghinis combined with stays in some of the best hotels in the country.

New golf and new distillery tours and the Carter Company cycle tours will also be talking points on the stand. Carter Company has launched what’s believed to be Scotland’s first “bike butlers” to help cyclists looking to make the most of the countryside.

Guests cycle on luxury bicycles, such as Cervelo and De Rosa, and the butlers offer support throughout the cycling trip, accompany in a road vehicle if cyclists get weary en-route and organise refreshments. They can also pre-arrange massage and therapy treatments at the luxury accommodation cyclists are booked to stay in.

Routes include Trossachs national park and Loch Lomond on Scotland’s Grand Tour, or Loch Ness on the Highland Fling route, with more cycle experiences planned across Scotland’s west coast for 2017.
