Designed by Michaelis Boyd Associates, the homes, one of which has just been completed with the second to follow in November, will be added to the resort’s guest inventory and available to book in time for Christmas.
Overlooking St Lucia’s Pitons and Glenconner Beach, the homes have infinity pools, a waterslide that connects the pool with a hot tub, dining gazebos and Italian kitchens with Gaggenau appliances.
Three more Beachfront Collection properties are still available for purchase with prices starting from $8.25 million, Mark Sterner, general manager at Sugar Beach, explained.
Additional developments at Sugar Beach include the jetty bar at Glenconner Beach becoming adults-only. Future plans could also include offering more experiential activities following comedian and actor Russell Brand’s recent stay, which saw him visit a local school, a soup kitchen and an addict’s recovery centre.
Sterner added: “I want to create those moments for regular guests too. Sugar Beach has a lot of potential. These days a luxury product itself is not enough – guests want to truly connect with the destination.”
