The Legend Experience will take place July 17–26, 2016 and just 17 guests will travel with Legend on a private jet staying in Four Seasons’ hotels in London, New York, Paris and Milan.
The trip is designed to provide insider access in “global cultural meccas inspired by John Legend’s own experiences” and includes a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, with a tasting session in the hotel’s secret wine cellar, an exclusive creative experience with Van Cleef and Arpels, a private tour of the Frank Gehry-designed Louis Vuitton Foundation, a tour of Valentino’s atelier and a sunset cruise on the Seine with a private performance by jazz vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant.
In London, the trip includes a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and a helicopter trip to Haseley Court to meet Aston Martin’s chief designer, Marek Reichman and experience the new Aston Martin DB11 followed by lunch with chef Tom Aikens. The UK leg continues with a rare tour of the architecture studios of Foster + Partners, dinner at “The Gherkin” – 30 St Mary Axe, designed by Foster – and a performance by child prodigy Joey Alexander, a 12-year-old self-taught jazz pianist.
The I.M. Pei–designed Four Seasons Hotel New York plays host for another part of the tour, where the experience includes a backstage seat to see a top Broadway show, a private dinner with Marcus Samuelsson, time with sculptural painter Dustin Yellin, dinner with a chef in the observatory atop One World Trade Center, a private exhibit at Sotheby’s for pairing contemporary paintings with a selection of wines and a sunset cruise aboard a Ferretti Group yacht with a performance by Jon Batiste.
Then in Milan, there’s dinner at the Ca’del Bosco vineyard, a glamorous tour of Lake Como in a Riva speedboat, an exclusive performance of the play Love Letters featuring Billy Zane and Marisa Tomei, and an evening at Villa d’Este, when John Legend will perform.
