The move means each of the 24 hotels in the Conrad portfolio will offer experiences in one, three and five-hour increments, or what the brand is calling the Conrad 1/3/5.
Each of the Conrad 1/3/5 recommendations covers food, shopping, art and design, culture, family or adventure. The experiences will be available through the Conrad Concierge mobile app and at the new website, Stayinspired.com.
Overseeing it all is Nilou Motamed (pictured), what the luxury brand has christened its “director of inspiration” and a former journalist with Conde Nast among others.
“Today’s luxury traveller wants to discover destinations where they can be truly inspired. So we are shifting how not only our concierges communicate and connect with our guests, but all of our team members,” said John Vanderslice, global head, Conrad Hotels & Resorts.
On property, concierges will be equipped with tablet devices to guide guests through the itineraries.
“Through our partnership with Nilou, we have trained our team members and empowered them to make thoughtful recommendations within our destinations, stepping away from the standard transactional relationship between a concierge and a guest,” said Vanderslice.
