To mark the reopening, a new video has been released to bring to life some of the changes travellers can expect to see on their trip.
All travellers must wear a mask onboard and in stations.
The resort experience at Disneyland Paris has been "reimagined" and phased reopening includes controlled capacity, enhanced health and safety protocols and a new online reservation system for advanced ticketing.
The phased reopening has begun with Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney Village, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel, Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne and Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe, including enhanced health and safety measures in-line with guidance from the French government and health authorities.
Measures to help promote health and safety also include limited and managed attendance to support physical distancing; enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures across the resort including high-touch areas; new policies, practices and training for cast members to help carry out health and safety measures; and requiring face coverings for guests aged 11 and older, cast members and contractors.
Guests will find some experiences have been adjusted and others will be temporarily unavailable or return at a later date.
Attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain, Hyperspace Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are open, while families can ride on Peter Pan’s Flight, Ratatouille and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
Characters are in the parks in new ways to entertain guests, while dining and shopping experiences have returned throughout the resort.
The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands and Jungle Book Jive will also return this month: 15 August for The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands and 22 August for Jungle Book Jive.
Upcoming experiences include the new Cars Route 66 Road Trip, Disney Junior Dream Factory and a reimagined Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.
Guests wishing to visit Disneyland Paris who have non-dated tickets or annual passes will need to register on a new online reservation system to receive a reservation for park entry prior to their arrival. Guests who already have a dated ticket or a package that includes park entry do not need to register and reserve a date.
