A Hays spokesperson said the decision to axe the event, due to take place on 24-28 March at the Hard Rock Hotel, had been made “after careful consideration and consultation” with homeworking staff.
“The decision has been made so that our homeworking teams can focus solely on their customers and bookings during the constantly changing environment we find ourselves in,” she added.
“As developments regarding coronavirus are changing so frequently at the current time, our homeworkers feel they need to be on hand to offer reassurance, support and guidance to their customers.”
