The company said in a statement on its website yesterday (11 March) that once administrators are appointed they will contact anyone owed money by the company. Further information will be provided on the Baxter Hoare website when available.
Abta said the majority of travel arrangements booked by Baxter Hoare Travel were for business travel, although the company also sold some leisure travel with Atol flight-inclusive packages, flight-only under an Atol, scheduled airline tickets under its IATA licence and retail bookings.

The BTA and Advantage member was established in 1883, when Frederick Baxter and Francis Hoare set up their freight forwarding company ‘Baxter Hoare & Co Shipping & Forwarding Ltd’.
In the following years, Baxter Hoare increased its portfolio of products to include arranging travel for landed gentry looking to travel on ships and aircraft.
Before its collapse Baxter Hoare was looking after business, leisure and trade fair travel for individuals and groups.
