The programme offers 77 resorts in France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Andorra, Slovenia and Lapland from 15 UK departure airports. New properties in Italy and Austria include the Hotel Parc Victoria in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Hotel Hermitage in Sauze d’Oulx and Hotel Kitzhof in Kitzbuhel.
Inghams’ partnership with Huski, the food and drink delivery service, is designed to reassure those wary about eating-out following Covid-19 with delivery of oven-ready meals in the French Alps.
Inghams’ chief executive Paul Carter said: “Following lockdown, we know people are really looking forward to a well-deserved break in the mountains. With our offering for the 20/21 ski season collated into an interactive digital brochure, we’ll be saving paper and making it as easy as we can for our customers to get something in the diary to look forward to.
“Essentially, we would like skiers and snowboarders to feel they can start getting excited about hitting the slopes again.”
Incentives for 2020/21 include 50% off equipment hire or carriage when customers pre-book their lift pass with Inghams. Winter 20/21 ski holidays can be reserved for £150pp, or £180pp for Canada packages, when booked before the end of September.
Julie Franklin, Inghams’ head of agency sales said: “Trade continues to be an important part of our distribution, and therefore we will also be launching a series of additional tools to help our partners sell the right holiday to the right level of skier.
“We will produce a standalone Resort Finder; each resort will have its own information sheet enabling them to email selective information rather than the whole brochure, and we’ll be hosting some webinars on how to sell ski holidays. All these elements will be available through the Toolkit in the Agent Website hub.”
