The 176-room property will be based in a new 25-storey tower in the city’s Turtle Creek neighbourhood, which is located close to Dallas’ central business district.
The project, which will also include 100 Mandarin Oriental-branded residences, is due to open in 2022 with the hotel featuring four restaurants and bars, including a MO Bar and speciality restaurant, plus a spa, fitness centre and outdoor pool.
James Riley, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental, said: “We are delighted to announce a Mandarin Oriental property in this dynamic and sought-after Dallas neighbourhood, together with a premier residential project.
“We look forward to extending the group’s presence into one of America’s most important business and leisure destinations.”
Hong Kong-based Mandarin Oriental currently operates 32 hotels and seven residences across 23 countries and territories.
