Pegasus has completed a successful trial of the app, which has been in development for more than a year, and has agreed commercial terms with Iata to become one of the first airlines in the world to offer it on international flights.
The app allows passengers to upload Covid-19 test results and certification to meet any country-specific testing or vaccination requirements.
It also stores any data locally on passengers’ phones rather than a central database to ensure their health data remains private.
