Lake, who took gold in the 3,000 metre steeplechase at the 2017 British Athletics Championships and competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, will take part in a live Q&A, offering running tips and motivation.
The latest in Charitable Travel’s free #WeekdayWellness sessions will be held on Friday, via Zoom, at 8am.
This week has been “running week”, with each HIIT session and corresponding nutritional advice tailored to help new and established runners steel themselves for autumn and winter training.
Sessions are supported by Charity Today, TTG, Atlantic City USA and CCFM Onair radio, and are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Attendees are kindly asked to make a small donation to The Mintridge Foundation charity, which is dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport.
Mintridge Foundation ambassador and athlete Lake will also share her experiences of competing at the highest level.
TTG news editor Jennifer Morris, who has been taking part in the #WeekdayWellness workouts, said the sessions had been a great focal point during strange times.
“Getting stuck in with a workout and nutrition tips three mornings a week has helped me start my day right and stay active, despite working from home,” she said.
“I’m so grateful the sessions, run by the brilliant Jenny Tomei, are free of charge. Don’t forget to make a small weekly donation to the Mintridge Foundation, though, which is dedicated to enhancing the life skills of young people through sport.”
