The exhibition is partnering with social media specialists Five Percent to launch a marketing conference and master class.
The one-day workshop will see the paid traffic, branding, and marketing experts share knowledge on what is succeeding for the businesses they work with.
WTM London event director Simon Press said: “We’re looking forward to a long-lasting partnership with The Five Percent and our continued commitment to up-level and bring the world’s leading experts and expertise to our clients, partners and visitors.”
WTM will also continue the revamp of its Buyers’ Club programme begun last year.
“More than ever before, WTM London will refine products in order to give attendees the best experience possible,” said Press.
WTM runs the technology-focused Travel Forward event as part of the main exhibition. This year Travel Forward will include a VIP Buyer programme, with a handpicked selection of buyers invited to attend prearranged meetings with exhibitors at the show.
In addition, the Travel Forward Conference will now be free to attend. This year’s theme is Resilience, Innovation and Response and will focus on helping travel companies from across the globe steer a path to a post-Covid recovery.
WTM London takes place 2-4 November at ExCel and will run virtually from 10-11 November for those who cannot attend the live event due to travel restrictions.
“We’re planning to run the live event," said Press. "We are confident in the planning to run the live event, absolutely. It’s a very fluid environment, so we are bolstering that live event with the opportunity to have a virtual event the following week.”
WTM Virtual will feature conference sessions, roundtables, speed networking, and one-to-one meetings. Press said: “Our virtual event provides us with the opportunity to work closely with the global travel professionals and ensure we can support the industry in recovering, rebuilding and innovating as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
